This is only for New Teachers that are in the Heartland AEA School Districts.

 This is the continuation of New Teacher IEP required training that focuses on Post-Secondary Transition for students 14+. This course is only for New Teachers that will have students accessing Post-Secondary (14+) Transition. Teachers will learn navigation of Post-Secondary (14+) Transition in the ACHIEVE system and how ACHIEVE supports the design of effective secondary transition services. Teachers will learn about Pre-ETS Services through Vocational Rehabilitation. Teachers will learn about Post Secondary Summary during the transition planning process.  Teachers will learn components of the Iowa Transition Model and how to use the Model to support the transition planning process.  It is expected that Participants will have already attended the following trainings: ACHIEVE navigation, Developing Quality IEPs (includes goal setting & progress monitoring).
